’19 Fantasy Baseball Week 20

Fucking Savages did not deserve a 4-2-2 loss to the Yankees. The guys were trailing all week, which included a six-run deficit for four days. We only tied a few categories on the final day. The final score probably left a sour taste in their mouths, but that’s the joy of fantasy sports. Even when you think everything is going your way, it turns upside down in a heartbeat, and the outcome is entirely different than what you expected.

MATCHUP AND SCORES

The Yankees sat in fifth place and needed to lay a beatdown on us to boost their hopes of sneaking into the playoffs. Things looked great for them until Sunday, when we somehow salvaged some dignity and stole valuable points away. From Wednesday to Saturday, we literally had no business to be in the matchup, let alone lose by two points and force a tie in two other categories. We sorry, but not really!

STANDINGS AND TEAM STATS

By this point, with only two weeks left, it appears that everyone has found their final position in the division. Who’s Your Vladdy?! and Puig Farm has been duking it out for weeks, and the division title may come down to the wire.

THE BENCH PLAYERS

Yankees should be happy that we left those eight runs, four home runs, and one stolen base on the bench. If you factor in those numbers, we clean sweep the hitting categories and win the matchup 5-4-1. We can’t wait to break down the final numbers when the season is over and see how poorly the bench was really handled this season.
