’19 NFL Pick’Em Week 10

Week 10 of the NFL Pick’em season was a disaster. It reminded us that no matter how hard we try, we are not going to be able to salvage the season.

For here on out, we will only recap the picks. We won’t provide updates on the standings or how bad we finished in the weekly pool.

Once Upon a Time in NE Picks

Thursday Night Football: Los Angeles Chargers @ Oakland (-1)

Well, two points the other way and we could have started the week off with a bang.

Detroit @ Chicago (-1)

Chicago pulled together a win, and I picked a loser. Thought Detroit was the better team.

Baltimore @ Cincinnati (+1)

That had to be the slam dunk pick of the week. I wondered who picked 49 points for the Ravens…

Buffalo @ Cleveland (-1)

There’s a lot of bad things going on in Cleveland these days, why did Buffalo put up a stinker?

Kansas City @ Tennessee (-1)

The Chiefs were the better team and lost by a field goal. This could be a huge momentum boost for the Titans.

Atlanta @ New Orleans (-1)

Never would I have expected New Orleans to muster up only nine points at home to a miserable Falcons team.

New York Giants @ New York Jets (-1)

In the battle of New York City, I thought the Jets were just gonna roll over… I was wrong. The Giants coughing this one up also cost me dearly in fantasy.

Arizona @ Tampa Bay (-1)

The Cardinals have been a team to reckon with most of the season. Sadly Tampa Bay eeked this one out.

Miami @ Indianapolis (-1)

According to betting stats, only 3% picked Miami to win. Good for them for cashing in on this victory.

Carolina @ Green Bay (-1)

Green Bay doesn’t often lose at home. When they do, it’s a fluke. The Panthers were not going to be this year’s fluke.

Los Angeles Rams @ Pittsburgh (-1)

The Steelers finally decided to start winning some games, sadly I was on that bandwagon against the defending NFC Champions.

Sunday Night Football: Minnesota @ Dallas (-1)

A lot can be said about Minnesota going into a hostile environment and pulling out a hard-fought victory. Also, it showed that the Cowboys are not elite.

Monday Night Football: Seattle @ San Francisco (-1)

In the battle of the upcoming NFC Championship Game, the Seahawks showed that it will be a tight game, thanks to a three-point win.

Total Points: 3 out of 13 (23%)

Stay tuned for next week’s picks!
