’21 NFL Pick’em Week 6

7 Rings continue to be the top team in their Pick’Em pool through six weeks of the NFL season. A one-point lead has expanded to three, which means competitors better keep winning and staying pace with the division leaders.

Week six of the 2021 season featured a handful of easy wins and some rather exciting developments. Teams who were favorites lost, and the underdogs prevailed in a handful of critical matchups. 7 Rings produced their best record of the season, going 12-2 with just 14 games on the schedule.

Thursday Night Football

  • Favorite: Tampa Bay 97%
  • Underdog: @Philadelphia 3%
  • Pick: Tampa Bay ✔
  • Commentary: The Buccaneers let up and allowed an awful Philadelphia to give their fans some hope. These moments all occurred hours before they traded one of their top players.

Sunday Morning

  • Favorite: Miami 67%
  • Underdog: @Jacksonville 33%
  • Pick: Miami ×
  • Commentary: I wonder if anyone in London wondered why two teams from Florida had to fly a few thousand miles away to play a football game…this after hurricane season.
  • Favorite: Green Bay 94%
  • Underdog: @Chicago 6%
  • Pick: Green Bay ✔
  • Commentary: Aaron Rodgers sure loves to play the Chicago Bears.
  • Favorite: Cincinnati 88%
  • Underdog: @Detroit 12%
  • Pick: Cincinnati ✔
  • Commentary: The experts say that Cincinnati has turned a page and could be a real threat down the stretch. Pump the brakes because they only beat the Detriot Lions.

  • Commentary: All of a sudden, the Colts are not a pushover.
  • Favorite: Los Angeles Rams 98%
  • Underdog: @New York Giants 2%
  • Pick: Los Angeles ✔
  • Commentary: The Giants had no chance in this game with all those injures, but at least they weren’t the lowest scoring team of the weekend.
  • Favorite: Kansas City 97%
  • Underdog: @Washington 3%
  • Pick: Kansas City ✔
  • Commentary: The Chiefs finally showed up to play ball. Well, at least for this week. Stay tuned for their next disaster.
  • Favorite: @Carolina 61%
  • Underdog: Minnesota 39%
  • Pick: Minnesota ✔
  • Commentary: It only took a few weeks for Carolina to realize New York’s same problem with Sam Darnold.
  • Favorite: Los Angeles Chargers 57%
  • Underdog: @Baltimore 43%
  • Pick: Baltimore ✔
  • Commentary: The Chargers were hailed as an AFC powerhouse just the other day, then put up the second-lowest points of the week. Put those Super Bowl parade plans on hold.

Sunday Afternoon

  • Favorite: Arizona 56%
  • Underdog: @Clevelnd 44%
  • Pick: Arizona ✔
  • Commentary: The news all week focused on Cleveland and their injuries; there was hardly any love for the undefeated Cardinals who continue to roll.
  • Favorite: Denver 74%
  • Underdog: @Las Vegas 26%
  • Pick: Las Vegas ✔
  • Commentary: Three-quarters of the people thought Denver was going to win. That’s one of the biggest jokes of the season.
  • Favorite: Dallas 90%
  • Underdog: @New England 10%
  • Pick: Dallas ✔
  • Commentary: No one in their right mind expected this to be a game of the year contender. It was a tense time to be a fan, and it was probably even more intense on the field.

Sunday Night Football

  • Favorite: @Pittsburgh 81%
  • Underdog: Seattle 19%
  • Pick: Pittsburgh ✔
  • Commentary: Seattle is not a contender for the first time in forever, and it’s only week six.

Monday Night Football

  • Favorite: Buffalo 94%
  • Underdog: @Tennessee 6%
  • Pick: Buffalo ×
  • Commentary: Sadly, one play call in the dying seconds is the only thing people will remember about this epic clash of two powerhouses.
