  • ’20 Fantasy Football Week 5

Pinstripe Bowl dropped to 2-3 on the season after suffering the league’s worse defeat of the week, 158.10-124.22, to Chod’s Team. Despite the sub 0.500 record, the Bowl actually moved up a spot in the standings and currently hang out in fifth place.  The Bowl jumped out to an early 21.60 point lead on Thursday…

  • ’20 Fantasy Football Week 4

Pinstripe Bowl pulled the biggest upset of the season, to date, with 33.5 point victory over the undefeated and reigning league champions, Lamar the Merrier. It was the champ’s third loss in two seasons and ruined their chance for a perfect season in 2020. The Bowl, meanwhile, improved to 2-2 on their season.  As week…

  • ’20 Fantasy Football Draft Recap

Pinstripe Bowl returned to Ladies and Edelman for their second season, hoping to put their miserable 8-8 non-playoff record in the past. The league expanded by two teams in the offseason, so the dog fight to secure a playoff spot will be even meaner this season.  Unlike fantasy baseball, which had two drafts* this spring,…

  • ’20 Fantasy Football Week 3

If there is one thing we have learnt from almost a decade of playing fantasy sports, we usually end up as the league’s punching bag. Pinstripe Bowl dropped their second consecutive contest, to the winless Nukl Busters, giving the new team their first victory in history. The worse feeling of the week may not be…

  • ’20 Fantasy Football Week 2

Pinstripe Bowl lost a close matchup to WATCH WHAT U SAQUON in week two, 139.32 to 136.44. Despite some great performances from quarterback Kyler Murray (Arizona) and wide receiver Stefon Diggs (Buffalo), The Bowl failed to gather enough points on Monday Night Football to overcome the 2.88 deficit.  In week two, Pinstripe Bowl got an…

  • ’20 Fantasy Baseball Week 7

It only took seven weeks, but BD4 won its first matchup of the season! The road we started down at the beginning was bumpy, which forced us to reevaluate on the fly, and those decisions finally secured us a win.    Our final numbers, overall (20-48-2) and matchup record (1-6), will be the only thing…

  • ’20 Fantasy Baseball Week 6

Another week. Another beat down. This season feels like the way Bill Murray must have felt when he woke up every day on February 2nd.    It only took three weeks, but BD4 finally won a category in a matchup! After 10-0 and 9-0-1 losses, we found ourselves on the wrong end of a lopsided…

  • ’20 Fantasy Baseball Week 5

The day was August 22, 2007. The Texas Rangers were visiting the Baltimore Orioles, and the final score resembled a matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Ravens. Week after week, we feel like the Baltimore Orioles of One Less Curse. I’m talking about the Orioles of my generation, long after Cal Ripken, Jr…
